Art+Copy Gallery Night this Thursday

There are many talented professionals within the Kansas City advertising community that have creative and artistic interests outside their jobs. To nurture the spirit of creativity and inspiration from everyday life, Art+Copy Club is hosting a gallery event to showcase local talent from the advertising industry.

The event is being held at Barkley on Thursday, May 3 from 5:30-8:30. There will be a DJ, food, and drinks. Cost of admission is $10.00 for Ad Club members and non-members alike.

I will be exhibiting 3 of my photographs that evening: In Memoriam, Chief Roman Nose, and Kenny Bear. The prints will be for sale. The above photo, Art Festival Pinwheels, was an alternate for the show.

If you are looking for something interesting and culturally significant to do on a Thursday evening in Kansas City, I’d suggest this. Attendees will vote for their favorites in each category as well as best of show, and handsome cash prizes await the winners. I’d appreciate all the votes I can get.
