New Feature - Consistent Imagery

Here’s the new thing that I’ve decided to do here:

No post will go online without an original illustration or photograph.

Long gone will be the days of using Google image search or a screen capture to punctuate a post. Even if I want to show a screen capture, it will be through an illustration or photograph.

I think the results of this late-year resolution will have two positive effects:

The site will become more interesting overall because there will be an added element of creativity to explore, and
This will help curb impulsive posts that may not be that strong or interesting to read. If I’m going to expend the effort to draw or photograph something, then it had better be worth that energy.

I hope you enjoy the (slightly) new direction that I’m planning on taking.
