VectorMagic!
The Stanford University Artificial Intelligence Laboratory has created VectorMagic, an online application for tracing bitmap images and exporting vector art.
I’ve used the site on a few pieces over the past couple of days and the results so far have been much better than the Live Trace feature built into Adobe Illustrator.
The image above is a quick sketch I did and ran it through the software. Pretty good.
